21. Uploading / Replacing Header Image |

Most designs allow you to upload a custom header image in place of the default. Header image may be a single image or a combination of few images. You can of course replace the combo image with a single image. 21.1. Double Click on the existing image to expose bring it in “edit” mode and they click on the “edit” link on toolbar above your site replace with your own image.

21.2. In case of this website, the header is formed with two different images placed on above the other. The top image is of a “.png” image with clear background and hence it gives the floating effect. Users can use any number of images to beautify their headers. Using images with clear backgrounds brings more beauty to your design.

21.3. Users can always replace the header images with flash movies to bring the flash effect to your site. You can place images and texts on top of it and beautify the header. Select the newly replaced flash movies or image and click on the “Send Black” link to bring the logo and other existing texts to front.

21.4. The button displayed along with the template thumbnail tells whether the header area is fully customizable or partially customizable. If the button is “Green”, the header area is fully customizable and if it is “Red” it is partially customizable.

21.5. Any change in the header area will automatically get transferred into other pages. If you need a stand alone design (image(s)) for any one of your page, you have to edit the header panel by clicking on the “edit” button.

21.6 Once the edit panel is open, click on the “Make this Private” link on top right corner to upload images applied only to the selected page header.

21.7. You can change the height of the header by editing the “Form Height”. See highlighted area below:
