31.2 Verify your site with search engines

Website verification is required for any Website owner. Verification helps search engines to verify who the owner of the website. Website verification is very easy thing to do. You can either choose to verify with a Meta Tag or by uploading an HTML file to your site.

A. Verify Your Website with Google

Google offers a set of Webmaster tools that can help you to manage your site. If you don’t have an account with Google, you need to get one. Once you have your account with Google, simply click on the following link

Make sure to copy all the meta tag code:

Edit the page settings of your index page at easysitebuilderonline.com and paste the code into the "Header Code" box.

Publish your site

Go back to Google Webmaster Tools and press the "verify" button.

After having your site verified, give Google few days to populate the information. Usually it takes about a week to give you a better idea of what’s happening, and then you can see what fixes or changes needed to improve your Website.
